Nice trail, but bad bumps at street crossings, and brutal patches in Mahopac. In rural areas drivers are very courteous and patient, not so lucky in towns. But a pleasant trail and good interplay between bikes, hikers, dog walkers and families. Quite hilly for a rail trail.

Trail is easy to moderate depending on your activity and skill set. It’s very serene and pretty. At different times, you may see many people walking dogs, walking, biking, or running.

Is a beautiful experience with dappled shade and Sun. Not too hot and not too cold, a little more breeze would have been welcome. Very little traffic going by. Air seemed fresh. A wonderful place to wait for somebody.
