Easy trails, stunning scenery, amazing wildlife. The best feature is the “ranger” who helped us pick the best trail to see the Ospreys.

This place is absolutely amazing. You get everything you could want in a nature park around NYC — from good views to lovely animals in the sky, in the trees, in the water, and on the ground — in a place that is both lots of fun and family friendly. It also borders the Jay Estate with a garden if you’d like to ease out from your hike. We saw some real red-tailed hawks when there. On a sunny day the place is incredibly cool. I highly recommend this place for a weekend day trip.
