The path was a beautiful ride to Akron,, however, there is a lot of trash in the canal. Makes me sad. Why don’t they use the people incarcerated to clean up these areas. It would be a good use of our tax dollars.

Clean, lots of parking. Great trail for walking/jogging, bicycling, and there is a put-in spot for kayaks on the Tusc. This is what we were there for today!
This was such a peaceful walking trail. It’s very long and there’s two sides. We only walked on one side. There is a lot of people biking so watch out for that. There’s lots of turtles. We loved it.
This area has lots of great areas to check out to enjoy nature.
My only complaint is all of the litter everywhere. The canal and Tusc river areas never looked like this when I was kid on my nature adventures.
The amount of litter in the water is terrible, and the litter left on the ground in the wooded areas left by the homeless people is extremely terrible.
I don’t have anything against homeless people, but there is no excuse for the devastation they leave behind in these environments!!!!
The city needs to do something about cleaning these areas up multiple times a year.
