We went to this beach because it was a dog-friendly beach. We had an awesome time with our dog, & our dog loved it! Yes the beach was murky, but it was low tide at the time. It’s a small beach but there’s a great playground for kids.We had a very peaceful relaxing day. We will come again

It is an interesting beach if you can handle the soft muckiness of the water. We saw a lot of wildlife including dolphins, horseshoe crabs, pelicans and starfish. The beach and all the facilities are kept clean and in order.

It was a very small, cute beach. With the playground and bathroom amenities, it is perfect for families with littles. We also saw a pod of dolphins playing in the water. However, the water was extremely brown and murky and had a pungent odor. We stayed for an hour and a half but left since we did not feel comfortable wading in the water.

This is the perfect beach for a day trip if you live in North Central Florida. The facilities are wonderful- ample free parking, bathhouses, picnic shelters and grills, a basketball court, and a playground. The beach itself is small but has some shady palm trees and the water is so calm. It’s an absolutely ideal spot for families with little kids. We love this little spot and are so glad we found it.

Quiet area , small beach but still fun for kids. Lots of kayak and a boat launch area. Everything is right there . Playground that’s under construction. Cute shops all within walking distance. Nice fishing and kayaking !
