FAQ for Maude Lewis Park in Alachua Florida:
Did a web search for a dog park in the Alachua, FL. area. And this place popped up. Drove to it only to find it was not a dog park, I wouldn’t even classify it as a park. It was more like a small playground for kids, a very small playground at that. So it needs to be listed as a playground not a park.
Not a dog park. Did a search for dog parks near me this place came up in the search. Drove to it just to find that it’s only a small fenced in area with a few places for kids to play. Mistaken listing not a dog park.
Really nice quiet park to hang out at. However there was ALOT of trash just on the playground area & a busted up flatscreen tv with glass everywhere under the shelter house smh.. We picked most of it up before it started storming.. Very beautiful park!
