Mora Dog Park is a spacious, pet-friendly haven located at 718 Forest Ave W, right in the heart of Mora, Minnesota. This dog park offers plenty of open space for your furry friends to run and play off-leash, providing a safe and clean environment for canine companions to socialize. With wheelchair accessible entrances and parking, it’s designed to be welcoming for all visitors.
Known for its cleanliness, friendly local community, and thoughtful amenities like free poop bag stations and picnic tables, Mora Dog Park is ideal for both dogs and their owners. While the park doesn’t offer separate areas for small or large dogs, local users appreciate features such as a toy donation box and ample room for group play. The trail from the parking area is a short walk, making visits convenient. Note that there is currently no water fountain, so remember to bring water for your pup, and the park can get dark after sunset as there is no evening lighting.
Honestly love it.. but.
Apparently you can camp here?
It would be a nice park but it’s not kept clean. People not picking up after their pets and the park has gotten pretty disgusting. There are available poop bags right by the gate so there really is no excuse. Also lots of people disregarding that you have to keep your dog leashed and under control until you get to the gate and other basic dog park etiquette. Several residents who live near the park completely disregard leash rules altogether. It could be a much safer and more enjoyable park if it was kept clean and separated into separate areas so reactive and fearful dogs could have a safe place to play without worrying about unwanted interaction. i’ve been to lots of dog parks in many different states and some are pretty bare bones like this one, others really take into account safety and cleanliness and are much more thoughtfully planned out. Also, in the winter time when it gets dark early, the park is very very dark and doesn’t feel safe. there’s no lighting after the sun goes down.
Very spacious. Other dogs even came to play. A gentleman thought his dog was so cute & sweet playing with ours so well he asked if he could take a few photos. Wish we had asked for copies! Every time we pull up the pup knows where we are & gets very excited. A little ways to walk from parking area but not too bad. They also provide poop baggies so remember to clean up after your pooch! Thank you!
Great dog park! Spacious, clean, and safe for furry friends. Dogs love it, and owners can socialize too. A fantastic spot for canine playtime.
Beautiful, Clean, Safe, dog park!! They even have a toy donation box, if you forget toys for your furry friends! The only thing I wish they had was a water fountain/well to get water for your dogs when/if you forget (like myself). We will most definitely be returning!!
