FAQ for Loring Park Dog Park in Minneapolis Minnesota:
It used to be a great park. Love the big vats of water for my Husky in the summer. We had a great group that met at the same time every day. Many have moved. Now unfortunately way too many people come with their dogs without proper licensing/permits/vaccinations. They tend to be the people who do not monitor their dogs and where problems occur. The park police say they do not have time to check permits. So I would not recommend the Loring Park dog park.
Very nice as I was there in the evening with a friend. The sun casted a beautiful sunset. The beams danced on the flowers as the slight breeze whispered by.
This is a wonderful dog park! The dog owners are very good at cleaning up after their dogs, and watching them during play. I’ve met some amazing people and dogs here! There’s lots of tennis balls, and a few other toys scattered around the park, but my dog’s favorite is the trees! (He loves to watch birds.) There are lots of “obstacles” for the dogs to play on and around in the park as well such as large rocks, a bridge, and a piece of artwork. There are pools and water dishes at the park, but in order to access the water you need a key. I would recommend always bringing your own water just in case! There are trash bags too, which is nice if you forget yours!
Nice dog park! Not very big, but it has gravel so their paws don’t get too dirty. There are pools so they can cool down, toys to play with, etc.
Great dog park! I’m a Rover Sitter so I take dogs here all the time and they love it. The park is clean and filled with toys and has water for all the pups. I walk from my apartment to the park since it’s about a 10 minute walk there.
