FAQ for Schutte Park in Dover Delaware:
Very nice park. The dog park is small but nice. It seems a long way from the parking lot. It would really be nice if they had some kind of watering station. Bring your own.
This park is extremely clean and I love it! There is a skate park, dog park, trail, baseball field, a couple of pavilions with electric access and of course apparatus for kids to play on. My first visit and my grandkids liked it a lot. Definitely going back😀
Very large park took my 2year old twin toddlers here on a warm spring day the small playground was perfect for them but the larger playground was way too high for toddlers but nice if you have older kids. There are baseball fields and a nice dog park as well.
The dog park is clean and new. Very big. Nice equipment its all the way at the back of the park before the baseball field. It has dog bags and a trashcan but no water fountain.
BE CAREFUL BACK BY THE POND BEHIND THE DOG PARK– There is an active hornets nest I think it’s called, it’s huge, right down by edge of water, hanging from a tree it’s a little harder to see until you get right up on it!My daughters & I love the walking trails, we went when there wasn’t any games on, so it was nice and peaceful. They had a snack at pavilion after, very clean area. We were very happy 😊
