Poodle beach is no where what it used to be. Declines every year. Trash is always on beach in past the beach was raked seems this practice is non existent. Used to be a great spot for gays however the beach is becoming much more family oriented. Kids running around kicking sand on everyone. Definitely not what it used to be.

The rules about bringing your dog aren’t really concrete. Great, clean beach. There were no barbecues, loud music, or even many seagulls. Really beautiful beach in a very nice neighborhood. One thing to note is that there are no bathrooms. You’ll either have to get creative or hold it.

Clean looking beach but NOT dog or dog’s human friendly. You bring your WELL BEHAVED dog to the beach who wants to run and play with the other dogs and maybe even in the water but no no no! Don’t let him off leash!! Even though yours is!! He just wants to run and play but because our Black Mouth Cur has shepherd face markings you accuse him of wanting to attack! Please… the dogs suffer and we’re headed back to DE Seashore Beach. Way to ruin a beautiful Saturday in November!
