This is a boat launch but is one of the stops on the captain John smith trail. There is also a geocache here but PLEASE bring bug spray. I did not make it to the cache. Good stop for a picnic too!

A nice little spot to have lunch and fish. I have been going here for a few years now.

No bathrooms or garage cans around to have picnics, but if you can handle it, you will be just fine. Park is very clean, there’s a boat ramp, the boats go in and out accessible, picnic tables are around. There is history here. Enjoy, there are trails to go on.
