FAQ for Tidbury Park in Dover Delaware:
Great walking park. Some light trout fishing too during the warm seasons.
Out of the way nature preserve/park. 1 mile gravel loop, quite smooth for walking or a stroller. Shelter area available, it’s covered. Large dog park as well. There is a way to access the creek/river with a kayak or paddle board at the back of the loop. There’s also an inlet area the loop surrounds that is accessible. Because of all the water it’s very humid and buggy when warm. There also could be more seating and clearing down near the creek side for better views. Overall the main trail is kept up well so for a county park hard to ask for more than that. Was very empty when I went, I think it likely stays that way.
Nice area, small trail(s), little overgrowth happening, but the walking path is smooth.Super buggy during summertime… bring spray!
First time here it’s so beautiful here so many different trails to go on a lot of places to park they have a dog park and a play ground picnic tables had so much fun
Too buggy. The bugs will eat you alive. I won’t bring any dogs to this park, We got bugs bite. It good this park is hidden. The trail and water is pretty.
