Very nice! 🙂
This is a beautiful park, but the Google directions to it are wrong. It’s by the baseball field on Thomas drive. But a nice park indeed. 2 medium sized dog areas where they can go off leash too!
Great place to being the dog for some off leash time. Doggie bags, walking trail, playground for the kids also right there!
I’m glad the city has a dog park, but it could be better. As it is now there is a fenced in area with two picnic tables. There’s typically not many dogs there at once, and when it’s empty there is room to play fetch.
One big caveat, the entrance has a fairly significant gap in the fencing (where the door meets the rest of the fence) which there was a point where my puppy could squeeze through, luckily my dog doesn’t fit through anymore, but others might have smaller dogs.
It would be a lot better if there was water for the dogs out at the park, and some agility/park toys for them to be engaged with. Examples being concrete tunnels to run through, bars to jump over, etc.
I take my nephews there, sometimes with their dog, sometimes without. The two baseball diamonds are well kept. The kids LOVE the playground. There are great paved trails to run/walk/bike on. Bring some old bread to feed the birds in the pond! The bathrooms are clean.
