Awesome place to put in on the Cape fear. Both access to water via stairs as well as a path to drive your vehicle down to drop off kayaks, SUPs canoes and other small boats. Has bathroom facilities near the parking area
An interesting area to be in, unless you’re a nature person type, but still is nice to be at. The environment is eco-friendly, nice view to see at, and even a good area to fish at! I recommend this place to be made with visitors to be more recognized and others!
This is a great spot to access Cape Fear river. Boating, fishing and swimming are popular here. There is some calm areas as well as rapids. The kids had fun playing on the rocks and in the water on a little jetty a minutes walk from the parking lot. There are restrooms and a small shelter with picnic tables. I hope to go back and explore the rest of the trail.
