Wish the trails were maintained as well as the grass. Quite a bit of poison ivy, and brambles. If you walk by the river, watch out for fish hooks.

Enjoyed flying my drone around the park today to get some good shots of the swollen river!

I go to the trail by the parking lot and return to a beautiful scene of a majestic sky. It’s a great look over a mixture of green, blue, and earth tones that are intriguing for a visitor who enjoys the Crimora rural roadways.

The best place to walk is back behind the baseball fields, not down by the river. Just drive around behind the school and you’ll find it. There is some playground equipment in the middle of a half mile loop. My wife likes to walk there because she can see the kids while they play.

Clean and beautiful. There’s never any trash when we go, people seem to only bring what they can carry. There’s a white duck that often greets you and his name is Quackson. Be careful when you fish, some spots of the river are only a foot or so deep from the bank. It’s the perfect place to go for some quiet or a picnic.
