This was an easy trail for the entire family and it was a nice break from the city heat. Definitely bring water, but it’s a beautiful spot, and the springs are gorgeous.

We had such a peaceful and beautiful time hiking at Carlito Springs! The trail is well-maintained, and the views were absolutely stunning. Seeing the actual spring was a highlight — serene and refreshing. Along the way, we finally caught some wildflowers in bloom and passed by clusters of cactus that gave the trail a unique New Mexico charm. Definitely bring water, especially on warmer days. This was a great choice for a quiet, scenic hike. Highly recommend!— Kemoshire | Honest reviews. If I visit it, I review it.

Well maintained trails, maybe considered steep to some in certain areas, plenty of places to rest (on a rock) if need be. Mostly shaded.
