The city should fix the East entrance for large dogs. The east side of the large dog area is more clean and bigger. Because only west entrance is open right now, people and their dogs just hangout near the west side which is where there is water and mud.
Also, people should pick up poop after their dogs. Just because no one sees you, doesn’t mean you don’t have to pick up. Please keep the park clean !!
Lastly.. please fix the road at the entrance for the park. It’s very uneven and gets muddy when it rains.

We’ve been coming here since Sorin Barkov (my doggo) was a pupper. We absolutely love it, well maintained, free water for the pups, poo bag stations, and benches for humans. The park is divided into a park for small dogs (20lbs or smaller) and big dogs (20+). Lots of other dogs to play with.

Info:
50$ to get a year long pass
Need a key fob to get in
Must have shot records

It’s awesome.

The park is only accessible to dogs who have registered with the Clerk’s Office and obtained a key fob. The key fob is a NULL deposit and the annual fee is NULL (NULL for non-residents). This means all the dogs in the park are licensed with the city and are up to date with vaccinations, which is reassuring.

Zillow LOVES the dog park and lives her best life there. The dogs there are friendly and the owners, for the most part, are very responsible. We love spending our mornings there; we have both made good friends with the regulars!

The biggest problem I have with the park is that it has NO water drainage and is on low ground. A small hole very quickly becomes a mud pit … and my white dog very quickly becomes a brown rat. I wish the city would put more effort in maintaining the park!

Great place for dog interaction. My dog has been less aggressive towards other dogs and even learned how to get in a pool. Lots of space and nice people around to talk too

Great park! Canton Dog Park has to be one of the best, cleanest parks around. The citizens were very nice and let me know how things basically work at the park. I have a 7 month old doberman who loves the park. There’s plenty of room to run and he enjoyed playing at the fence that separates the little dogs from the big dogs. Many bowls for water and a few tubs for the water-loving dogs. There are covered areas for the two-legged creatures as well. There’s literally no poop as everyone is responsible for their dogs and there’s also a clean up crew that comes out to be sure. Overall I rate the park 10/10.
