I skipped all 2024 here and came back 6/2025…Now I remember the issues here.Water is really cold even on a hot day.Red 🐜 ants. The last straw that made us finally leave was a damn snake 🐍 about 3-4 feet’s long🤦🏻‍♀️I just happen to see and it went it a bush that was on the way up from the little hill to walk about to get out from the water area. Theres absolutely no reception here even with a portable WiFi box.I don’t think we will be back here again.Water is beautiful and clear.. but again it’s so darn cold, make it’s uncomfortable and the darn red ants🤦🏻‍♀️also you have to pay a fee at entrance.

This is a great place to go, the water is very cold and it’s the best place where I’ve been to, I also feel like that I loved to collect rocks. ❤️

Hidden beach, with no cell reception. Well lit and a few Rangers were driving around so it felt safe. Visited at around sunset and it was beautiful, definitely dark at night.. don’t recommend going at night.

1 hr from Vegas. Better in ways them boulder etc beach with views(water feels better at boulder and near ones thou) cooler here, but your getting lots of other upgrades. Definitely recommend can relax on own and swim and etc spots near marina or bring boat and EXPLORE the beauty of black canyon and the caves, hot springs etc etc I’ve done both and both are fun.

Beautiful place. Better then boulder beach we left and went to will next day. View lovely! Swimmers areas around marina people with tents, umbrellas etc.. no sand but not rocky like boulder beach. Much nicer view and little rocks n dirt not huge rocks lol. Water cold but after moving around seems ok. Definitely recommend if in area. Really enjoyed it and lots if ducks that stay near you and swim near you just nice.
