The trail itself was very quiet, first time riding with my family however we stopped under the bridge before getting here and found a bullet shell casing, then we arrived and stopped for a quick break and two young men who seemed to live down the street were looking. one of them started walking toward us, very dirty looking, barefoot walked right in front of us just to glance at the creek and turned back around. it was odd but I was scared he was going to do something. it doesn’t seem to be a safe spot if you’re alone.

Great spot to recharge the water bottle while on the trail leading east towards King Williams District or west to the Westside and eventually Our Lady of the Lake

Not much here. No designated parking space other than along the side of the neighborhood roads, which doesn’t seem like the safest environment to leave a car when you’re clearly walking onto a trail. The water fountains did not work and my thirsty dogs just had to go without til we turned around.
