FAQ for Love My Dog Resort & Waterpark in St. Petersburg Florida:
Been coming here for 20 years (even back when it was “Club Dog Busters”. Natalie’s crew have always taken great care of our pups. Prices are competitive with other boarding locations. Our dogs love coming for daycare and tug towards the back as soon as we’re out of the car. The staff is friendly and always greets the dogs with exuberance and joy.
I have been taking my dog Lincoln here since 2022 when he was a puppy and had all his shots. He he’s a rowdy dog who loves other dogs. He likes to play rough and wrestle. I bring him here for daycare weekly and board him as well. The staff is so kind and friendly. Even when there are new faces they are so wonderful. My dog is always excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot. Which I am grateful for because if he hesitates I know something wasn’t right for him.I am a first time dog parent so I’m very specific about where I take my dog. As well who I let my dog play with. Of course like most people I have heard the downsides of taking your dog to daycare. That’s why I am grateful for finding a place that I can take my dog without worrying about him and he loves. I always recommend them to other people.
My Rottweiler Julius has been going here for about a yr and a half. Never once was Julius stereotyped like he had been at other daycares. He’s had multiple baths, many Waterpark adventures, the staff here is great and loves Julius. I’ve boarded him here a handful of times. Haven’t had any issue upon pick up from boarding. They even sent me a ton of pictures his last board about a month ago of him playing with other dogs. When there has been a minor issue I just called the manager and had a civil conversation. I recommend this place if you want an all around good experience for your pooch.
Love My Dog is truly the best! After Hurricane Helene left us homeless, they welcomed our boy Ozzie for his first boarding experience. They provided a safe, fun, and loving environment that made him so happy. We are so grateful knowing he was well cared for while we faced other challenges. The entire team went above and beyond for us. Ozzie had a blast playing with the other dogs and enjoying the water park, more water park and more water park! I highly recommend Love My Dog!
This place is really bad news. Do not trust these people with your dog. I picked up my black lab Winston from boarding after 2 nights. Right after I got home I found this very awful wound that they never even told me about. Just called them to find out what happened and they could not provide any explanation whatsoever. Was my dog attackedNULL Why was I never informed? Who will be paying my vet bills? I would never recommend this place to anyone and will never be using it again. After going to the vet I was given an estimate of over ? to get his wound drained and stitched up. Still have not heard back from the manager regarding a resolution. Update 5/16: stitches came out today. Still waiting on reimbursement for my vet bills…
