Nice walk, with clear paths. You can park at the YMCA or at the Salem Soccer Parking lot. This trail has multiple options for terrain and trail type: paved, grass, or both. You can stay along the road on a paved trail, down behind Salem schools and along thr creek, or you can walk through a small nature area that have many different and criss crossing grass trails (which gives a refreshing nature trails feel).Currently this trail is having some work done.-It appears that a pond is being installed updated. There is already a healthy group of snapping turtles 😆- Many trees have been cut down in one area and are just lying dead. I imagine most of these will be removed at some point.-Tractor on the property for the pond.-Lots of new trees planted! This trail will definitely be 5 stars after theconstruction is finished and the new trees have established. This trail can be as long or short as you would like. My walk was 2.75 miles.Happy walking!
