It’s secure with a 6 ft fence. Surface is sand and gravel, no grass. Picnic tables are ok to sit while your dog explores. Nearby walking trails had a few takers while I was there. I think the trail goes around Haggetts Pond which is nice.

Fairly standard dog park. Obstacles to play on but no water available. There’s some walking trails around the park which is good to calm your dog down with after a play. They run close to the highway but are mostly fenced off from it.

Poor maintenance. Dirty place.
There are garbage cans around the place but apparently not used by dog owners.
Lots and lots of poop on the sand and grass.
Dog owners should be responsible and pick up the poop to help keep the place clean, but they don’t. Imagine what their homes must be like.
It needs a lot of improvement!

This park has gone downhill. 😢
The ground cover used to be a clean layer of sand… it’s now mostly dirt with some pavement chunks and sections where untrimmed grass has taken hold.
There was poison ivy across the back fence last time we came – that was removed, but the Virginia creeper and bittersweet have taken its place.

They cut down most of the trees that made the space shady.

Strangely, all of the dogs in the park were kept on-leash… (??)

No separate small-dog section… but there are on-leash trails behind the park.
