My friend and I came here to kayak. This is a 100 acre lake. We saw people fishing and swimming. I checked about bringing my grandkids to swim but decided against it as they won’t let you utilize any flotation devices, including life jackets. It is a sand beach. There is a life gaurd but with three of them 6 and under I didn’t feel it would be safe. Under 10 years old kids must be accompanied by an adult in the water. There is a camp ground here, a playground and a camp store. There store sells worms for bait. There are picnic tables and fire rings. No pets on the beach but are allowed at the campsites but must be on a leash. They are open Memorial day through labor day.

I would stay here again!Very nice campground. My site (27) had electricity only and that was fine. Arrived in a thunderstorm and the area never developed puddles, even though it was level. The pea gravel was smooth and so easy to walk on in bare feet. All sites appeared large and many are long. No significant roads nearby so it was quiet. The restroom/shower facility is very clean and well maintained. My site was spotless and I didn’t see litter anywhere in the campground. The main roads are paved and appear new.Employees I met all were young, polite, helpful and respectful. I’m guessing they were high school or college students. They seemed happy to be working there. The campground is located away from major highways so it isn’t ideal if you want to spend time in Ithaca, NY.

That pretty nice place to go to. Water was fairly clean. The only problem was this time of year there are geese and geese poop everywhere.
