Cute little park with a small beach on the St. Croix River. It has several picnic tables, benches and garden areas. I found the fall colors to be gorgeous! Less than 5 minutes from WI/MN border by I94.
Nice little place for a walk and a cigar!
Great large playground, nice small beach with an outdoor shower to rinse off, plenty of picnic locations, and public restrooms. Everything that’s needed for a low cost relaxing/fun family day.
Great park, with ample parking, beautiful river views with many shelters for picnics and wide open fields of grass for kiddos to run around. Playground equipment isn’t ideal for kids under two, (they’re labeled for 5-12 years of age) but certainly still other options like a small see saw, merry go round and swings.
Lakeside Park is one of the nicest and most scenic small town city parks that I have ever been to. The location is perfect, right on the shores of the St. Croix river. If you are a birder like myself, it had a great variety of bird species when I went in the spring. Grackles, red-wing blackbirds, robins, eagles, ducks, geese and others. They have a huge newer playground. Quite a few grills and picnic tables. Ball fields.
