This is a gem of a gem just waiting to be enjoyed. There is a pool. I don’t know the details of the pool. There is a lot of parking, about 2 dozen or more picnic tables, access to the creek for swimming and fishing, though no signs indications swimming restriction or whether it is permissible.Lovely! Hidden! Needing appreciation! Come on out. The roads are quite winding and scenic. Please take your time getting here and enjoy the beautiful Pennsylvania woodland. The roads are safe but caution is required because of the geography.

We decided today to go see someplace new to us. So we we nt down to Bendigo State Park. Near Wilcox. What a nice little park. They gave several picnic choices basketball courts and volleyball and a nice big play ground. But the best part was the swimming pools. It was so family oriented. There were people of all ages enjoying them selves. And the other swimmer were very good about not trying to take over the whole area. The lifeguards were out of this world. They were very vigilant and watched what was going on but still had time to be friendly. If your looking for a place to go not far from home you need to try it.

Great for field trips or family trips! The educational staff are amazing and have well thought out and put together lessons, they are patient, kind and flexible. There is a pool available to the public, a playground, fishing opportunities, and so much room to play. We did not explore trails but considering how well everything is kept there I’m certain they’d be great too.

Bendigo is a small State park but it’s quite beautiful! Camp grounds, outdoor pool, pavilions and picnic areas, playground and wonderful fishing area in the river! Many hiking trails. It’s just lovely!
