It could be a beautiful park. Probably was before Hurricane Helene. RIGHT NOW , what would be wonderful would be to see some of the service organizations in the schools and community to organize clean up and repair events until the park is restored properly. I’m 61 and on oxygen but I’d be willing to serve refreshments to volunteers for a couple of hours if such an event we’re organized.😊
Great park, wish they had a dog park in town but the lap around the park makes for a nice walk. Lots of storm damage and clean up needed still.
I really enjoy going here with my girls. It’s also super convenient and located near the house so the kids can go there by themselves safely. The park offers plenty to do, a walking Track, take me to shelters, and so much more. It is well maintained and kept up.
Me an my family had a great time at the park we had our 2020 Thanksgiving dinner.
