FAQ for Dog Run at Kings Park in St Simons Island Georgia:
This is only for small dogs! There are technically two areas one designated for large dogs and one designated for small, but the fence is waist high…so it is not keeping in any large dog with capable cognition. It is right by the road, literally feet away. So extremely unsafe! This is the worst “dog park” I have ever been to. It’s literally just a small fence around a small rooms worth of lawn, it’s truly pathetic and very dangerous.
Well maintained dog park, plenty of parking space across the street.
One of the Islands new editions in 2021. Great place to let your dog meet other dogs and maybe find a new friend yourself.
I was skeptical if this dog park really existed, but we went and it was great! There is a small dog area and a large dog area. Both are a very good size, have water spigots, and benches to sit in the shade. It is right next to the Pickleball courts and across the street from the baseball fields.
