Nice fishing spot and got to see a deer
Nice little paved down and back path with loops on either side. Total distance was about 2.3 mile. Plenty of small benches to stop and enjoy views of the creek. A decent amount of shade available too.
Great place to put to paddle around. The put in has a nice ramp that makes it very good for launching kayaks. Watch out for the poison ivy if you walk around the banks – it is EVERYWHERE!
“This was a unique cute park, kyacking here was alot of fun!!”-I won’t change this post, park has been so wonderful I have returned many times since I first posted this over the years. My go to park for recuperating.
Small park with a few trails. Well maintained trails where you can walk close to the river but not too much too see. There are some small flowers on the paths. This park also has a kayak/canoe ramp and a large open area if you walk down one of the trails!
