IMO this is a hidden treasure for the Canton area. It is an amazing building for President McKinley’s final resting place. It’s a big walk up to the top, around and back again. Occasionally they let you in, timing.
Then there’s the very nice museum down below. Highly recommend 👌

The President William McKinley National Memorial—this towering monument isn’t just impressive, it’s got the whole story of our 25th president.

Fantastic spot to reflect on history while getting in a great workout and enjoying beautiful views of Canton. Many people use the steps for a challenging fitness routine. It’s also easy to reach Stadium Park by hiking, running, or driving from here, and running to the Hall of Fame and back adds extra fun. For runners, you can tackle the steps for a solid challenge, then continue down the trail through Stadium Park. Running under the bridge to the Hall of Fame, across the turf field, and up the hill beside the dome gives you another rewarding hill workout. Running the turf field might even give you a brief feeling of being alongside Hall of Famers!
The flowers at the botanical garden are always beautiful. Last year it was so full and vibrant! I love the Zen garden. The walk through is always magical. It’s so peaceful and calming, makes you forget you’re in the city.

A nice little metro park, though it has lots of goose droppings, which is to be expected with the nearby water.
Even better is that the McKinley museum and monument is only a small jaunt away, and this connects to several other parks via trail.
