FAQ for Srouji Park in Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania:
Nice, small park. There is a paved walkway that makes a loop. Perfect for walking. Ramps down to the creek too. My dog loved it!Update: they added a nice pavilion!
While not the biggest park, it’s well maintained and not crowded. Looks like a nice put in or pull out if you’re a kayaker. Gage (🐕) really liked his short visit here. We’ll be back again.
A nice little park with a paved walking path and access to the Conodoguinet Creek. The water is shallow and clear with lots of crayfish and turtles.
Small but nice and taken care of. Nice boat ramp for kayaks I would assume because the water is shallow.
A small park in its early stage. It was donated by Dr. Srouji & his wife several years ago, hence its name sake. This 3 acre passive park is just across from the Indian Creek community across Good Hope Road. The .3 mile loop path was just very recently paved, the straws/hays laid for the grass, and the grow-tubes fitted over the tree seedlings. So it can only get better over the coming months. Ample parking for the small park. There is also water access to the Conodoguinet Creek, although the Good Hope access point is merely 1 mile away upstream. Over time, once the trees and landscape mature, it has a potential to be a nice space for leisure, hopefully a small arboretum eventually.Park hours are dawn to dusk and open during the months from April through October.
