A wonderful and idyllic place to shut out the noise of the world. I discovered this hidden gem recently. Super friendly passer buys and very dog friendly as well.

First time visit was Friday July 11th 2025. What a wonderful park. I wish my town had something this nice. There is a walking trail, picnic pavilions, and a children’s playground. I stopped and talked to a dog walker and got some valuable information about the area. Please don’t be a jerk and feed the wildlife. No fishing at this time due to ongoing park improvements. I did see a handicap fishing platform which will reopen in 2026.

Visited the park for a family reunion. Only got to see a small portion of the park, but the facilities were clean and the grounds are well kept. I was impressed by the number of native plants planted along the stream and pond. Will definitely be bringing the kids back in the future.

Big lake to walk by, fish in or small boating I believe is allowed? Great place for outdoor birthday parties or family gatherings. 2 playgrounds one much smaller than the other. Very peaceful place.
