Delta Golf

Great rail trail with friendly passerby’s. There’s a few pretty dangerous road crossings throughout the 20-ish mile stretch of the trail. Both ends had good signage of the roadway crossings and a few had pedestrian traffic buttons to alert motorists. The trail is a gradual grade as most rail trails are. The trees help breakup some of the wind but there are some short full exposure areas. This was a lovely find to ride my bike on a perfect fall day. Most of the terrain is crushed gravel but the Lebanon end was paved the first couple of miles. Smooth throughout, though! There are signs alerting cyclists there’s a speed limit of 15mph, although I got a few smiles and no negativity whilst easily cruising closer to 18-20mph.It’s dog friendly and most were leashed. There’s a couple water stations at both ends, both for people and pets.

As we near the end of the trail, it was interesting walk as you watch out for traffic as you walk through the city but how beautiful the views are! Also a salute to my fellow soldiers who are presently serving, future soldiers and past soldiers who make this country what it is!
