I come here frequently for runs. This place is very meticulously maintained and the grounds staff are ALWAYS doing something to improve it even more. Recently installed a few cameras in the parking lots and some mulch on the trail to help with mud. Overall great place to come for exercise and is very safe as well.

We found this nice park when we first moved to the area over 30 years ago. Our 3 active boys LOVED the ‘fun fort’ playground that was originally there and would spend hours playing tag on the playground. When our sons were older, my husband and I would occasionally meet after work at one of the shelters along the creek and eat our take-out Chinese while catching up with how each other’s work day was. We even rented one of the shelters here for our oldest son’s 18th birthday party because there was a sand volleyball court there. When our grandsons were old enough to take to the playground, we were sad to see that it had been set on fire and was closed down. Recently though I saw they had rebuilt the playground and my grandsons really enjoyed it! Great job Lower Allen!!

Beautiful park with more to explore than I initially expected. I found a back parking lot by the pavilion to play guitar, which was a perfect spot. Definitely a park Ill return to in the future. Super clean, benches and tables scattered about to enjoy plenty relaxing while taking in the sights.

Nice creek, dog park, walking area. I love it being close to the golf range. Many golf balls left so long they are buried in the ground I dig up to give a man who cleans balls and sends them to another friend down south who sells them and gives the money he makes to charities. It’s fun gold ball hunting there! I found over 25 in the last month!

There are several playgrounds scattered throughout the park. The largest one is in the back. There is a dog park that is usually busy. You can also access the yellow breeches creek. We use the park to kayak.
