A lovely place and a lively place too. People come for walking or for walking their dogs. Nannies with babies in strollers frequent this park a lot and sometimes the nearby day care centers bring groups of children for an outing. At lunchtime some people sit here on the beautiful park benches having their sandwiches and coffee. We too love to spend time here observing the world.
Beautiful and quiet park space with a variety of trees and flowers. Well-thought out design that provides a nice balance of light and shadow, especially as the sun moves across the sky and shines through the trees on either side of the grove. I especially like that it is situated between the Brooklyn War Memorial and the Korean War Veterans Plaza.
A great spot in Cadman Park. Have a seat and relax for awhile. Almost always in bloom. Great for a chat or people watch.
