Beautiful floodplain forest on the St. Croix. Quiet and undeveloped with walking trails, creek and all variety of migratory birds with beautiful views of the river.

It’s convenient for where I am right now. The views are pretty stunning. It’s also not a busy place. I love walking here.

Nice beach area and great views of st.croix river from left to right. It was a little tricky to find, being my first time here.

I followed my GPS to steamboat Park, but when I pulled in, it just looked like a muddy wayside. We found the trail, however, and walked along the creek to the river. Quiet, undisturbed beachfront trail, turned out to be a really peaceful and beautiful walk.

Take the dog down. Flooded at the moment but he wakes in. Too deep to go down to the normal beach.
Wall over the stream to see a different perspective of the park.
And Selma’s is right there.
