FAQ for Irving Square Park in Brooklyn NY:
Awesome neighborhood park. Very well taken care of nowadays. There’s a section for dogs that is unfortunately not gated, and my dog has poor recall, but the other dogs seem to enjoy it!My dog likes to walk around the perimeter of the park and smell everything. There’s a playground with some water fountains for kids. Tons of benches to sit on and have a snack or a coffee. Lots of mornings and afternoons spent here over the past couple years.
Overall a cute small park with a farmers market on Sunday. Downside is sooo many dogs. It kind smelled like dog crap when i layed in the grass on my blanket. Not a strong smell you could just tell that dogs were around. In the playground side they only have the bucket child seats not the regular swings but lots of children were running and laughing having a great time.
This park has really come along way over the past decade. Plenty of trees, benches and grassy areas to sit, play game of choosing. Also a nice playground with water for the kids or adults haha durning these long summer months. Lots of dogs at this park, just a heads up even though there are many signs about keeping your dogs on a leash many many people let them free/ offf leash at this park. There’s also a newly renovated public bathroom that was just built.
This park is beautiful. i had lots of cookout in there, and each time, it went well, and now they have a bathroom that makes it much better. My grands and family loved it to…
Very simple and lovely park! Dog friendly! People have an area where they hang out with their dogs. There is also a lot of sitting areas and the park is pretty neat and not too noisy! There is also a play area for children to play.Generally an inclusive park with a lot different people hanging out. The park does not necessarily close but people tend to hang out in the evening before it gets dark.
