I was looking for a local park to visit and decided on this one. 1st time visiting, 1st park is small but the great views more than make up for it. As you enter you’ll see a very cool mural. It has a nice Pier with plenty of benches to take in the great views of the Manhattan skyline and the Williamsburg bridge. There’s a small grassy area where you can lounge around to read a book, have a picnic or just relax. Park is located in the hip trendy area of Greenpoint. I love this park. The views are great. I love the Mural. I find it very peaceful here. I’ve seen Ducks, Geese and even Swans glide by here, on the East River. I’ve also seen different types of boats. This is one of my happy places. It’s also very dog friendly and people I’ve met here are very nice.
