Dog friendly park overall. Great views. Dog owners bring their dogs for a walk and gather here in the morning from 7a-8:30a. Then again around 4:30-6p. Fenced off kids playground area is always being used. near the top there are picnic tables with a nice view. Different areas of the park feel sectioned off if you want a more private experience. Everyone is friendly here. Feels like a real community park.
nice park. very relaxing + lots of open area to play vball, soccer, etc. we crocheted using woobles and watched the sunset. good cooldown to a long day if you decide to go!
Been coming here since I was a toddler, and still absolutely love relaxing in the sun on the grass at Lafayette! Beautiful green spaces like this are what make this city so one-of-a-kind 🙂 and if you love dogs, there is a non-stop flow of cute pups to see and meet
