🐾 Kids at the Dog Park: Real Stories, Safety Risks & Smarter Solutions

Bup’ Rearick Park, located at 3500 Ellis Ave NE in Canton, Ohio, is a neighborhood park known for being pet- and family-friendly. The park features a playground, a basketball court, swings, restrooms (though they may not always be unlocked), and a water fountain. If you’re seeking a quieter spot to enjoy time with your dog on-leash, this could be a good choice, as it tends to be less crowded compared to other parks in the region.
The park is wheelchair accessible, offers activities for kids, and has amenities for families looking for a convenient place to relax. While dogs are allowed, there is currently no designated fenced dog area, so dogs should remain on-leash unless local rules change. Please be mindful of ongoing maintenance issues and some reports of occasional litter in the area. Despite some mixed reviews, Bup’ Rearick Park remains a dog-friendly option for residents and visitors looking for a pet-welcoming park in Canton, Ohio.
Cute little neighborhood park. Basketball court, playground water fountain bathrooms.
It’s OK it’s a nice park but I was there to meet a friend
we were the only ones there but nearby drug dealing gang related graffiti and trash madebit look made it look janky and outdated .
No one was here. Its small. I came bc no one is here. They do have restrooms, however they are locked. Im sure bc of bad things, drugs ect. Its ok i guess.. i wldnt make it a point to always be here. No.
It’s ghetto but it’s the projects so what do u expect. It’s mainly the kids climbing on the bathroom and destroying the swings, used to be a place to play at years ago but now nobody is there. SMHA is going downhill!
