Trout Run Park is a beautiful park right along Lycoming Creek. There’s a small playground, hiking trails, picnic areas, a pavilion, and lots of places to fish or wade in the creek. The park is carry in/carry out, so be prepared to take your trash with you. There’s a porta-potty down near the creek that was fairly clean. This is a great place to spend an afternoon outdoors.

Great park! It’s take in / take out so there’s no garbage cans that I could find (which is fine, I just didn’t realize before I went). Plenty of space and just a gorgeous place to take the family.

ATTITUDE of GRATITUDE

This port-a-potty is cleaner than my bathroom and that’s saying a lot! To top it off the truck pulls up after I leave and puts scented stuff in there. (yes I had to go back and look) kid friendly, plenty of shade, cool water, If you go to the left tree line and follow the longest trail (should take all but 30 sec) you will find a water pull off where the water is a bit warmer and you can catch crawl daddy’s.
