Was searching for places to Fish from shore. Being new to the area/state, we will be travelling in search of multiple places to go fishing with our daughters.
No trail markers but relatively small park which makes it easy to find your way. There’s a hill in the middle and trails were of various widths. The abandoned train tracks were a fun discovery. Saw absolutely no one mid-morning on a Sunday.
A wonderful place to walk and enjoy nature. I take my dog Brody there almost every day. You encounter very few people, and it seems like your own personal forest at times. I’ve seen deer, snakes, many types of waterfowl, hawks, muskrats and even beaver on my daily jaunts.
