Not a super exciting trail. But not bad.
very pretty. not so long for a bike ride but more of a short family adventure. has a wide mowed grass/gravel surface appropriate for a mountain or mixed bike. no mud.
Great place. The maps said “you are here” in the middle of the road just off the off ramp from rt 6. The parking area is visible from over the hill there, but the actual parking is accessible from a gravel road about 1/4 miles away. Google maps got me close but I had to search a little on foot.Great little hike. Incredibly well maintained. Wide, graveled, and no tripping hazards to speak of. Beautiful creek on one side and a meadow and mountain on the other. Two good spots to hang out along the creek. There are a few benches and picnic tables along the way as well. One spot on the creek would be good to play fetch with your dog. The only con on my list is lots of bugs but that’s just the way it goes sometimes.
