Mountain Pet Resort was recommended by several friends when our previous boarding place canceled last minute. Gia was so nice and reassuring when I called in a panic. Paula, the owner, gave us a tour and made me feel so good about leaving my fur babies at Mountain Pet Resort. This is my new boarding place! We are very happy about our experience with them. Our fur babies came home happy too!
It’s all about the dogs with Paula and Gia. We have a new rescue dog, Ruby that has food reactivity issues. They handled her with care and took great care of her. I was nervous about boarding and once we saw how clean and professionally run everything was, our minds were at ease. We went out of the country and knew she was safe and well taken care of. Plan on taking her back for another trip.
I have a wonderful dog who is very smart, super energetic and has a mind of her own. I asked Paula with Mountain Pet Resort to provide obedience training because I wasn’t so well by myself. After just 3 weeks, my pup’s manners and skills have improved dramatically! Her attitude is great and she is a happy girl. It is on me as the owner to be consistent and spend time with my dog every day reinforcing what we have both learned. And while I had been trying to do this, I wasn’t getting very good results until Paula trained both of us. Highly recommend Mountain Pet Resorts!
Mountain Pet Resort is a professionally run kennel. Paula is a no-nonsense, no BS type of person. She may not give you the warm fuzzies, but after you tour the facility and understand how it’s run, THAT will give you the warm fuzzies — and that’s what matters.The entire facility is clean and tidy, there is no smell of dog, feces, or urine, and has 24-hour monitoring of the entire kennel space by the owner, along with fire detection.I was very nervous about leaving Pearl at ANY boarding facility, but after seeing what Paula has built, I had no reservations whatsoever, and had a great vacation. Pearl will be back, very soon!
