The grass was little high. South Georgia is known for it’s rattlesnakes….and I want to be able to SEE what’s in the grass. I highly recommend you go for either a day trip or like us, to camp. There’s kayaking available, biking and hiking trails and a museum on site. Beautiful place!
The best flat water kayaking in GA. The park office has super friendly and helpful staff and the campground and it’s bath house are well maintained. The beauty of this place shines it’s brightest if you get on the water and explore the Cypress groves. 10/10
