Our pups always enjoy play time. Then, once in a while, we’ll hop back in the Jeep and do a trip around the refuge.

Great dog park! It’s good size, you can’t see the front fence when you’re at the back of the park. There’s a regular and a small/senior dog park, and they have a gate midway so you can swap from the small dog to the big dog portion and vice versa. It is pretty clean, some poop here and there, but a nice walking path along the fenceline that’s kept clean. Also, a small thing I really like, they have a doggy water fountain rather than water bowl! Push a button, water comes out for them, but then also drains, so no standing water that 80 dogs have drank from and dead bugs have landed in lol parking can be tight, but it’s a great little park and not usually too busy. Really enjoy taking my 2 year old Shepherd and my 12 year old Doxie, they both have a lot of fun!

Mae my pup wanted to review this park. She said “Not a ruff park. Great sniffing, easy to make friends, and a place to get my zoomies out off leash. Plus not very many dog mines since the humans are great about picking up after us pups. “

As of 10/14/22NO WATER AVAILABLE FROM FOUNTAIN/DOG BOWL. LEAKING FOUNTAIN – CITY SHUT OFF.Great park with almost entirely good dogs. All around maybe the best park I have frequented.I should say, of the morning crowd 8-11, I have never seen an unfriendly dog or human. There is a single gate and a double gate. The double gate prevents other dogs from running out while you’re transitioning in. The single gate shouldn’t even be an option but it was never changed after the double gate was installed. Many people use the single gate at the risk of other people’s dogs going out because it’s closer to the cars. There are two stations with doggie bags, one at the front and one in the far corner, but only one trash can near the very front. There are also only two benches one in the very front and one in the far corner. The park is probably about 2 acres with a 4 ft fence around. And starting in the midpoint of the park the back half slopes downwards. There are only about 10 maybe 12 parking spaces and I’ve seen the lot full. One of the regulars had items stolen from inside their car while they were here, once. Also the cars have a tendency to get dusty because it’s a dirt lot and there’s also a dirt road next to the lot that gets a lot of traffic into the wilderness reserve.I definitely keep my windows rolled up now.In the winter and wet seasons it’s very muddy. Ive been told that the battle ground park is a great winter alternative.

Great little dog park with a gravel walkway with a few sunny benches around the perimeter, it’s own parking lot, dog waste stations, and water access for pups and their humans. Features a large field with a large boulder in the middle. Perfect little stop off the freeway to play fetch with the pup!
