FAQ for Tails and Trails Dog Park in Mukilteo Washington:
I go here all the time! I’ve met fellow dog owners and exchanged numbers so our dogs can play together Today I went and there was some young girl with her black Shepard mut there I was playing ball with my dog this dog kept running at my dog with her hackles up biting at my dog..no correlation from the owner as she laid there on her phone..she then leashed her dog on the park and of course my dog wanted to play but her dog now restricted on the leash went to bite him again! Then a guy came in with I think it was a springer spaniel and started biting at my dog when he tried to greet again the owner did nothing he threw the dogs ball my dog runs with the dog he could less about the ball again dog went after my dog again no correction I had to leave as more dogs were coming in a lady came in I warned her she said that’s my dog in said well he’s biting she says your dog was “chasing him” it’s called playing lady! Do better owners! My dog has never nipped or made any aggressive jesters to any dog he wants to play! I had to try and drag a 55 pound dog out while he of course wanted to get away and play. We only got to play for 10 minutes! I won’t allow my dog to get bitten if your dog doesn’t like to be “chased” stay home!!! Again DO BETTER DOG OWNERS!!! We have never had a problem until today!
Such a great place for your dogs to play! Also a fantastic trail system if you’re a runner.
Nice open area for dogs to run, and a few obstacles for them. We enjoyed the little trail behind it and the trails around but they could use a bit of maintenance is all.
I adore this charming medium size park that is right next to a little hiking trail! I live in Silver Lake and work in Mukilteo, so it’s a close park that immerses you and your dog in nature! Right by the beach/ferry and lots of cute shops and delicious spots! It had a park for small dogs and larger dogs with training equipment and lots of room for dogs to run/sprint/chase their hearts out 🐾
Very nice off leash dog park in Mukilteo. When it rains it can get quite muddy. Available doggy bags are nice and a number of benches. There is a shy dog area and the trails near the dog park are decent… could use some maintenance and also extremely muddy (bring proper footwear!). Overall would recommend, could use some improvements and make sure to bring water for your pup!
