FAQ for Sundet Park and dog park in Eau Claire Wisconsin:
Wish people would follow the rules and leash their dogs until they get into the dog area
I like this dog park because it’s not too busy, or hasn’t been the few times I’ve gone with my dog. It’s all fenced in with a small dog section and a larger area for big dogs. I will go back and recommend checking it out.
It’s nice that there is a pavilion with bathrooms during the summer months but sometimes it can be a drawback that there is a playground just because there’s a lot of activity there that doesn’t belong to the dog park. Not too big but sometimes gets really muddy if there’s been a lot of rainfall otherwise a great park
Great little park. Nice big area with rolling hills and nice separate flat area for small dogs and older dogs with mobility issues or handicaps. Would be a 5 star if they had a few benches in each of the areas to sit down on.. If I can get ahold of owners or handler of park reads this, I may be able to build a few benches and donate them to the park. Just leave a response. 😀
Typical Eau Claire Park. Basketball court, playground, small rec rental building, no grills. There’s more for dogs to enjoy than there is for the people in the community. I seen 6 dogs come and go while I was there. Two ladies had two each come and a group of kids had two. There were three other people in the people park beside me. I seen a group of about eight kids across the street from my son’s girlfriend’s house playing in the backyard 😂. It’s sad that the county satisfy the few taxpayers with dogs in the community rather than the many with children. All these wooded recreational areas around here to take your dog for a stroll. I know the dogs would enjoy that more. More natural and more to explore for them.
