Google took us to two different locations, one private property… down a two track for miles….and neither resulted in seeing Buttermilk Falls. We blame google not the Falls……but still horrible experience. Good luck, have full tank and bring snacks!….. but seen this beautiful old home so gave trip one star!

This place is beautiful like all the pictures. This isn’t a regular up to date modern park but it is a very natural one. No restrooms but there is plenty of space. Saw tons of dogs on the trails along with families and kids. The trails are long and they go pretty deep into the woods. The waterfall is the best part. There are two bridges on the path and a few benches.

Beautiful day for a walk in this park. Was a little muddy, but overall amazing because the weather was just perfect. There was no litter or debris laying around. The only negative that I will say is people that have left their dog poop for people to walk over should be taught to bring a bag and pick it up!

My dog thought this place was magical! It’s a nice little park, pretty much 1 trail, maybe 2. You can’t really get lost. We have had lots of rain recently so the water was nice and refreshing!

Short, easy hike to falls. From the parking lot. Left side of the soccer field in the corner you’ll see a sign “To Falls”. Just follow the path down. It is down hill and it’s a natural path so wear hiking shoes or sneakers. The river is there and the falls are to the right. There’s another sign post. We didn’t go to the “Bridge” path. My plan is to go back and explore the entire loop trail. There’s a nice spot to sit by the river. We went right after the massive rains from Ida. The river was really flowing. I love the sound of running water. Definitely will go back to explore further.
