FAQ for Rosedale Nature Park in Huntersville North Carolina:
Beautiful park, from the enclosed playground to the nature features to the woods and walking trails. Biggest complaint is that the zip lines are a hazard for younger kids running around. The playground is very high, so keep an eye on toddlers when they’re climbing. Love the nature park behind where kids slide down the hill on cardboard, play with sticks in the woods, etc. Pretty tiny parking lot considering how popular this spot is.
SAT 2025.08.30 06:40 arrived at Rosedalle Nature Preserve just in time to enjoy the magical moments of dawn lighting ❤️ After which did a walk ~7 mile CW-Loop of Torrence Creek Greenway and the neighborhood. The Preserve, Greenway and the neighborhood were well-kept, nice and clean. During my ~2+ hrs of walk, encountered people; some walking, and some jogging – everyone’s cheery and friendly.
This place is wonderful! I’m hoping all playgrounds go this way—natural equipment and moderate risk features that kids need. My son played on the astroturf hill for at least an hour just sliding down on cardboard pieces.
Absolutely our kids favorite park to date. They love the “zip lines” on the main play area and also the hilly faux-slide (especially using pieces of cardboard down the hill). The back of the play area has a small area for hiking and more natural play spaces, like a log teepee structure and other log climbing structures.
Spectacular park! My kids had sooo much fun! The playground is fantastic but it’s the other stuff that really makes the playground. There are lots of fun natural areas for kids to play in. There are huge rocks along the walking trail that the kids had a blast climbing on. There is also workout equipment.
