FAQ for Rock Springs Nature Preserve in Denver North Carolina:
The park is very nice and the trails are nice also, the bathrooms are usually clean besides the spiders, the only issue with this park would be a teenager that lives across from the park that always comes when he sees a lot of people and just stares at everyone usually with a creepy smile. We (my husband, our two daughters and myself) went to the park to have a picnic and we sat on the picnic table and he stood in the middle of the playground just staring at us the whole time until we went to walk on the trails. He has made myself and my family so uncomfortable we no longer go to this park.
Beautiful trail through nature for those wanting a little more challenge. A loop that is easier that is partially paved. A nice playground and shelter. Benches around the loop. Beautiful place
Beautiful park, with a nice paved trail, which would be perfect for kids scooters. The bathrooms are really nice and clean too. Lots of picnic tables. There’s a huge shelter, but also some tables outside too. Has a couple little free libraries. My kids loved it.
I love this trail/park. Dog friendly, great park for kids, covered area for eating, bathroom building and short and long trails. I like the loop trail it’s very short and if you avoid the only real sharp incline the trail is fairly flat with plenty of resting spots closely spaced. I would recommend this for someone doing rehabilitation for anything that requires resting so often. It’s very kid friendly with a great park my niece and nephews love they also have a story walk for the kids. Noticed a camera looking over the parking lot so some sense of security as well, all and all this one of my favorite places to just get a quick walk with the boy in.
A great place to spend some time outdoors. They have plenty of parking. Pavilions that would be good for a picnic lunch. They have trails throughout area. Some are paved trailes while others are through the woods dirt paths. The dirt path trails have lots of roots. The paved trails had an interactive story board for kids to read as you walk. This park is dog friendly with poop bags and garbage pails to dispose of.
Great park, well maintained and clean. 1 large playground that is well mulched making it the best choice after a few days of rain when other parks are very muddy. Great walking trail and nature trail leading to creek. The nature trail is a moderate hike and the walking/riding trail is easy.
