I used to come here when I was younger and there was lots of stuff and now it’s creepy and I feel like there’s a dead body under the whale… Other than that it was cool ig

The dog park is wonderful place. My dog has been a country free range dog and upon moving we now have smaller property and more restrictions. She spent 2 hours just at a nice gallop just getting pent up energies out. No surprise dog bombs and land is well cared for.

Be a responsible pet owner and pick up after all pets you bring.

Left me a wondering what mother was thinking. Not a place for children. Sketchy. Art work rivals a Tim burton movie. A homeless man lives in the whale. I found a large cerated knife near the “playground.”
OHIO? Are you ok?

My grandson fell in that mucky sewer water. He’s three he was doggy pattling he was scared I jump in to safe him. I called the parks department a few times, but nothing has gotten done to clean it up or even post signs!! Didn’t have time to take pictures of him. Later I went back and took these pictures of were he went in and I went in after him.

The defunct Mother Goose Land in Canton is currently a city park with a dog park at one end. The only remaining attraction is a life size Willie the Whale sitting in a pond. The pond is green with algae and debris. Willie has been cleaned and painted. There is a long mural depicting all Mother Goose characters that were in the park and old entry signs still exist. Canton has added a few interactive items that create sound. There is also a skate park located to the south of this small park. A Facebook page exists to keep Mother Goose Land history alive.
